As I set up my blog I wonder...Is blogging like scrapbooking? Because I've always thought that scrapbooking is kind of sad.

not like scrapbooking at all. scrapbooking IS sad. this form of "messageboarding" can be really anything you want it to be, but with the hopes that people you know (or don't) will interact at their convenience. for example you are creating a forum for others to debate certain points. something i have yet to do on my own blog. i feel as though this is a way for me to keep in touch with people who are not around me everyday, everyweek, every month, and give them insights into things that stand out to me in my day to day life that i may not remember to share when i speak to them on the phone in 16 days from now. plus... and i quote robbie wilkins, or r-fresh as he is known in the blogging world, when i say "i love technology, forever and always." scrap that ...and don't use all appropriate punctuation.

ps i will help you tomorrowwith the letting anonymous bloggers comment, it's quite easy and can change everything
